In Florida, in order to be able to expunge your record, you need to have never been convicted of any criminal offense, you need to have not sought any prior expunction of any criminal arrest history, and you need to provide good cause to the court as to why your record should be expunged after you’ve gotten a certificate of eligibility from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and you’ve filed a petition to expunge your record in court.
