Yes. There are situations and circumstances under with the police can come and arrest you from your house. Most frequently the way that that would occur and the legal way that that would occur, even if there may be some challenges to the legality of the basis for that later, is that the police would have an arrest warrant that’s been signed by the judge requiring you to submit to their authority to arrest you. Again, even if there are problems with the basis for obtaining that arrest warrant that a lawyer can address for you after the fact, if the police come to your house with an arrest warrant you should comply with them.

You should of course remain silent and tell them that you want to speak with a lawyer before you answer any questions. That is a situation where the police have the authority to arrest you in your house. If they do not have a warrant and they come inside your house, again, you should speak with an attorney immediately to determine whether or not they violated your constitutional rights.
