In Florida, we have many different types of drug crimes that range from simple possession of a small amount of marij1uana to anything including possession of a listed chemical or substance that could even be just a component part or used as a component part of manufacturing another type of drug. What we also commonly see is the possession of what might otherwise be considered legally obtained substances such as prescription medications where their criminal offense is for illegally possessing them, illegally distributing them, illegally obtaining them, and even trafficking in them.
