10-20-Life is the terminology that’s heard very frequently in terms of the Florida legislation that’s been in existence for quite some time now regarding the possession, discharge, and use of firearms in criminal offenses. In other words, it involves a reference to the sentencing that someone could be exposed to under Florida law for committing crimes where they use firearms or are accused of even possessing a firearm at the time a crime was committed.
