Well, every law office is going to vary in terms of what their terms and policies are about consulting with clients about DUI charges. Most law firms will not charge a consultation fee, at least for an initial conversation, even if over the telephone about your DUI case. I would ask each individual lawyer, with whom you intend to consult about your DUI case, whether or not he or she charges a fee for that consultation, what they believe constitutes a consultation, and if they do charge a fee, what that fee would be. Before you make any decisions about who you’re going to hire, I would advise that you do your research and figure out who would be best for handling your DUI charge.
